New Love Grows On Tree's

Whilst creating love trees with my sister in her Brooklyn apartment, a Mr Pete Doherty came flooding out of my i pod (good old shuffle always throws up a treat) with these Babyshambles lyrics. I thought wow. New Love really does grow on trees! Well said Petey. I knew a Petey once. He lived in Orange County and drove a truck. He was 15 (maybe 16) and took us to get ice cream. I was impressed cos i still dont have a license.

Are you still talking to
All of those dead film stars
Like you used to
And are you still thinking of
All of those pretty rhymes
And perfect crimes
Like you used to love

And if you're still alive
When you're twenty five
Shall I kill you like you asked me to
If you're still alive
When you're twenty five
Shall I kill you I know you told me to
But I really don't want to

I still remember all of the things you said to me
You were the man and I was Calvary
And you said, ah you said
New love grows on trees
New love grows on trees
New love grows on... new love grows on trees

Are you still shaking out
All the dead wood from your bed love
Well times don't change and you're still thinking of
All of those pretty rhymes for love divine
Oh no, you really don't have to
If you're still alive
When you're twenty five
Shall I kill you
Oh I know you asked me to
But I really don't want to

I remember every single thing you said to me
...
You said new love grows on trees
New love grows on trees
